Anna McClellan began performing her own songs in her hometown of Omaha, NE at the age of seventeen and has been recording and touring ever since. Her 2015 debut Fire Flames earned her an opening slot on a Frankie Cosmos tour. Since signing to Father Daughter Records, she's released her second album Yes and No, and a new single Desperate/Pace of the Universe. Grounded in indie-band fundamentals, 'Desperate' uses drums, bass, and major electric guitar that strums to create child-like joy. In the same vain as Kimya Dawson of The Moldy Peaches, Anna's cathartic and bare-faced vocals reveal: "truth is I’m desperate, please save me from myself, I’m so desperate, I can’t be helped".
